Arto Hievanen, who has acted as managing director of AIRIX Ympäristö Oy since the company was founded, will go into part-time retirement starting 1.9.2008, and will continue to manage mainly special projects for key customers and specifically defined tasks, for example customer relation issues and expert tasks related to project start-ups.

 
Tapio Tuuttila (MSc) from the AIRIX Ympäristö Oy Oulu unit has been nominated to succeed Arto Hievanen as the new managing director of AIRIX Ympäristö Oy. Presently Mr. Tuuttila is responsible for the unit manager duties of the Oulu unit and acts as the business area director of Land use.

In addition, Heikki Armio (Eng.) has been nominated manager of the AIRIX Ympäristö Oy Kaarina unit, as well as member of the AIRIX Ympäristö Oy management group, starting 1.9.2008. Presently Mr. Aarnio acts as road, traffic and region technology business director of AIRIX Ympäristö Oy. He will continue as business director, and in his new position he will continue to strengthen his business area, especially in the Southern Finland region.
