Finnmap Consulting Oy and Aaro Kohonen Oy have funded a school building in the Northern Kivu region of East Kongo. The progress of the school project is being monitored on the News page of the FMC Group web site.

Mandaleo used to have a school which was destroyed by a volcano eruption. The new school will have six class rooms for approximately 300 children, as well as offices for the headmaster and the teacher.

The construction work of the school is presently in good progress. The estimated construction time is approximately seven months.
