On 15.02.2008, KPM-Engineering Oy acquired the entire capital stock of Oy H. Koivikko Engineering Ltd. Oy H. Koivikko Engineering Ltd continues to operate under its old name, as an affiliated company of KPM-Engineering Oy. The company has 15 employees, and Harri Koivikko (MSc Techn) continues as Managing Director.

The acquisition involves the transfer to Harri Koivikko of the shares owned by H. Koivikko Engineering Ltd in the company Tampereen SuunnitteluKORTES Oy.

The acquisition increases the capacity of the FMC Group in Tampere to provide proprietor service for industrial buildings, building and structural engineering, and engineering export to Russia. Now the FMC Group in Tampere includes KPM-Engineering Oy, Oy H. Koivikko Engineering Ltd, Engineering company KA-Rakenne Oy, AIRIX Talotekniikka Oy, AIRIX Teollisuus Oy, and AIRIX Ympäristö Oy.
