FACTORY AND PLANT DESIGN

Within the industrial and energy technology business of the FMC Group, the factory and plant design is implemented in close cooperation with the process design, the machine and equipment design, the electrical and automation design, the HPAC design, and the structural design. In the layout design we pay special attention to the optimized positioning of equipment, in order to minimize pipe lengths.

We have specialized in the design of pressurized equipment. Communication between inspection organizations and authorities is part of our daily routines.

We cooperate closely with other design areas to optimize the overall project. We prepare for the future by designing for a long and flexible plant operation. A basis for the design work is also the overall economy, including the minimization of operating costs, as well as energy, maintenance and repair costs, with the purpose to maintain sustainable development.
