Pure drinking water is one of our most important 'food supplies'. The world has a clean water shortage, and the shortage generates many problems related to hygiene and disease. Pure water is required for drinking, cleaning, and food production.
A functional pure water supply requires service and maintenance. The largest part of the water we use is spoiled – polluted. To keep our water resources clean or improve their condition we need to process the discharged water. It is, however, necessary to investigate in advance how the discharge can be minimized. |

The operation of FMC Group water supply covers communities and industry. We make general regional water supply plans which evaluate alternatives and their costs and functionality. On a smaller scale we evaluate the water supply of urban areas, especially regarding waste water treatment solutions. Such issues must presently be considered by dwellers in urban areas and owners of summer cottages.
The most technical and evident water supply planning areas are the process and plant design objects. This includes water wells, water treatment plants, elevated and buried water tanks and pressure boosting plants, as well as waste water treatment plants and pumping stations, and sludge treatment plants.
The benefit of our large company is evident particularly in plant design. We can manage large and demanding objects on our own, although we often collaborate with designers from other organizations.
