STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS

Static analysis is used for studying internal structural forces and stress using multiple load combinations. Several load combinations are resolved simultaneously. This ensures that the significant load combinations are considered.

Dynamic analyses evaluate structural behaviour when subjected to dynamic load, for example as a result of earthquakes, moving people and machine loads, or wind.

Modern applications

We use modern, flexible FEM applications (finite element method), for example GT Strudl, Algor, Lusas, Staad pro and Fem design, where structural stress can be precisely determined using 3D models. 3D dimensioning also provides mass data, enabling cost comparison for different structural solutions.

Commercial software or calculation applications produced by the FMC Group are used for structural dimensioning. It is also possible to customize calculation applications according to customer needs, especially for product development tasks. We also check strength calculations and structural design.
