Professional industrial design

Oy KA & Koivikko Engineering Ltd is a professional designer of industrial buildings. Our main business areas are structural and building element design, and overall and architectural design. If necessary, we receive additional support and special assistance from our mother company, KPM-Engineering Oy.

We employ 30 professionals. Most of our objects are located in Pirkanmaa and different parts of Finland, but we also export, mainly to Western Europe and Russia.

We design concrete, wood and reinforced concrete structures. In addition to industrial buildings, our design objects include business and office buildings, apartment buildings and family homes. We provide turn-key design, if required. Architectural and structural design from the same provider saves customer concern, time and costs.

We emphasize on reliability, customer focus and efficient service in all our activities. We conform to the RAKLI-SKOL-ATL quality system.

Happened over the years

Oy KA & Koivikko Engineering Ltd is a combination of two companies from Tampere, Insinööritoimisto KA-Rakenne Oy and Oy H. Koivikko Engineering Ltd. The two KPM-Engineering Oy subsidiaries merged on 1.4.2010 and continued as Oy KA & Koivikko Engineering Ltd.

Insinööritoimisto KA-Rakenne Oy started in 1960. Construction engineering company Kontio and Anttila was founded that year. Insinööritoimisto KA-Rakenne Oy has operated as a subsidiary of KPM-Engineering Oy from 2005. Oy H. Koivikko Engineering Ltd was founded in 1980. Oy H. Koivikko Engineering Ltd was acquired by KPM Engineering Oy in 2008.
